@Mya011 I'm truly sorry your're suffering from this very real fear -- I can relate in some ways, as when my anxiety levels were extremely high, I used to think something terrible was happening, or going to happen. It caused a great deal of distress, as the fear is quite real and takes an emotional toll. Regarding doctors, if they see the same patient repeatedly, and find nothing physically or organically wrong, they think the person is making it up for attention -- and start to view it as a joke. I think that is very insensitive of them, especially as professionals. But I have a strong feeling that the attitude would be a lot more empathetic if the doctor had experienced this him or herself. No one really understands what you're going through, unless they've experienced it themself. But try telling yourself that it is a manifestation of fear and anxiety -- and not a real disease. Anti-anxiety medication may help, if you haven't tried any meds before.....

@pickone thank you so much for this I really thought I was alone with this but I'm getting great support on here & yes that's why I stopped going to the hospital they never made me feel safe or comfortable just made my anxiety worst I use to go to the hospital a lot but I've stopped because they are no help but I haven't tried the meds yet I'm kind of scared to because I already took a benzodiazepine about 4 years ago and it gave me the worst withdrawal so now I don't even want to try any meds but I feel I need something just to get through the day and enjoy life again. I haven't left my home almost a year so it's hard :/ my brain is filled with negativity & I can't stop thinking on a daily.
