Question. Do you guys have someone to talk to beside a therapist? My boat is just a dingy with a paid of underwear for a sail in that department. Lol

I don't really talk to the 3 people that know about it. Just never feels like the right time to bring it up. My therapist suggesting checking out the family support group of sexaholics anonymous. It's the group that is similar to the support group for families of alcoholics. I believe he said it was called Sexanon. I'm going to check into it but not sure what to expect. My wife isn't a sexaholic but therapist said different groups will have participants that don't necessarily fit that mold.

There's also the Beyond Affairs Network. You can go on their website to see if there's a group in your area or you can apply to form your own group.

I have a meet up group, this place and my therapist. I blurted out my story to a friend who lives in PA about 2 weeks ago. She was telling me she thought her boyfriend was cheating and I
Said "kick him to the curb!" Then immediatly wrote "don't listen to me. I can't dole out love advise!" And told her everything. She was so sorry and non judgemental and it felt good to confide in a friend. She said "man you guys hide it well. He looked so much in love with you at the wedding".

It's really hard explaining a sex addiction to someone who wont get it and probably doesn't beileve it's a thing though.
